We just came out of the Q1 correction and the amount of narrative distortion we endured was next level. You never fully grasp how disconnected perception becomes until you watch it happen live.

Today, I saw something that snapped everything into place. Uber announced a robotaxi partnership with May Mobility, aiming to deploy thousands of autonomous vehicles across U.S. cities by 2025.

That’s not a side story. That’s a signal.

The Market Isn’t Ignoring Recession Signals, It’s Absorbing Them

April saw one of the strongest U.S. equity comebacks in recent memory. And yet the media keeps hammering…

“Recession is coming.”
“GDP is down.”

So why does the market keep pushing higher?

Because these signals don’t mean what they used to.

Take the GDP contraction. It was driven by declining exports, not domestic weakness. That’s not bearish. That’s strategic insulation. The U.S. is reshoring, securing critical resources like rare earths, and repositioning its industrial base.

Markets are forward looking. They don’t care about lagging prints.
They care about positioning, liquidity, and structure.

Even recession fears become fuel when they spark rate cut expectations and panic positioning. We’ve seen this before in 2018 and 2019.

Automation Is the Real Trigger, Not Rates

This isn’t about inflation or monetary policy.
This is about labor obsolescence.

Uber’s move is just the tip of the spear. I looked at DocuSign this week. Over 7,000 employees for a digital paperwork company. How is that sustainable?

Companies are starting to realize they don’t need these bloated payrolls.
When enough of them follow through, we’ll see labor purges, demand collapse, and a break in the wage based consumption engine that has powered the U.S. economy for over 70 years.

That’s the real trigger for the crash. Not the Fed. Not CPI. Not China.

This Bull Run Isn’t Delusional, It’s the Setup

Every cycle ends with euphoria.
This one is no different.

What makes this bull market historic is the scale of the transition it's built on. We’re front running AI, automation, energy dominance, and domestic reindustrialization, all while pretending the legacy economy still matters.

This is the final rally before structural decoupling.

If you're familiar with the dot com bubble, or even recent crypto cycles, you know how this ends.

The U.S. Is Laying the Scaffolding for the Reset

Here’s where I differ from the doomers.
I don’t think this ends in collapse.
I think it ends in reset and rebirth.

The U.S. is quietly setting up for post crash dominance:

One day, I made a mock portfolio on my iPod Touch, picking stocks based on gut instinct and what I thought might happen. I forgot about it for a few years—until I checked it again and was shocked by how well it did.

It’s the same thing, isn't it? Do you recall people pushing such strong narratives back then? I don’t. Unless this is what I consider the AI and Robotics Revolution, and we are all being replaced by robots. No, this isn’t some massive crash. The recovery will be an incredible opportunity.

Policy decisions and prominent figures often become scapegoats for market downturns that were inevitable due to prior excesses.

Even our Indicators were flashing sell signals for a few months.

In Summary, instead of getting caught up in media-driven explanations, one can focus on the structure of supply and demand. As Wyckoff might say, understand the game as it’s played, and the Composite Man’s tricks won’t fool you. The next time the market sells off and a policy decision is blamed, look back a bit: you’ll often find the fingerprints of distribution all over the charts, hiding behind the convenient narrative. The story in the headlines is the cover; the real story is written in the tape.

Doge has undergone a significant cycle in the past, a fact well-acknowledged by both the crypto community and retail investors. We have a new narrative forming as well. Coinbase is set to introduce Dogecoin futures on April 1st.

For those in the know through our Discord, you've seen us discuss timing our trades. This approach entails holding off on profit-taking until the conclusion of a predetermined period. It's a strategic method to mitigate risk while securing a larger slice of any price movement.

Predicting Dogecoin's Path

Avoiding the exaggeration typical of the hype gurus, we aim to logically dissect the forces propelling Dogecoin.

The chart we're examining spans a 2W timeframe, showcasing Dogecoin's price evolution from its previous cycle and current accumulation structure. Our successful Chainlink trades show that a surge past a 600-day formation suggests significant strength.

The introduction of futures trading on Coinbase represents another avenue for bolstering Dogecoin's liquidity and trading volume, further fueled by retail investor enthusiasm. This enthusiasm is precisely why financial pundits frequently spotlight their positions on television – it's all about harnessing that liquidity for large-scale trades.

Following Coinbase's listing, a period of adjustment involving profit-taking is likely. Yet, if the price remains robust, we might be on the cusp of a genuine rally, especially with Doge Day on April 20th looming.

A wise friend once advised, "Don't overcomplicate things; embrace simplicity." Ignore the noise from those relentlessly pushing for unrealistic price targets. The market's natural movements are your best ally.

So, what is Reddit?

People use Reddit for a lot of different things. I myself find myself adding “+ Reddit” to >50% of my Google searches. It is a patchwork quilt of community forums, with what was, for a long time, a self-moderating community of “Sub-Reddits.”

Some people use Reddit for some of the same reasons people use all other forms of social media: to celebrate, condemn, defend, or mock causes, celebrities, and events, etc.

But

Many people, especially in the Millennial and Gen Z Generations, have gleaned a lot from Reddit.

I’ve seen kids getting help with homework on Reddit. I’ve seen celebrities such as David Lynch do “AMAs” or “Ask Me Anything” sessions (essentially asynchronous interviews - anybody can pose a question in these sessions, and you may just get picked.) On the other hand, I have seen subreddits pointing people to the latest movie pirating website, travel advice for people looking to avoid extradition, etc. Reddit was, for a long time, like pirate radio. It has since been cleaned up, with many inactive, illegal, and/or “NSFW” Subreddits now closed.

In the past 5 years, and especially in the past 3 years, I’ve seen Reddit taken more seriously as a target market/audience. I remember sitting in an SEO class taught by an upstart hotshot from SEER in senior year of undergrad who indicated that Reddit SEO was all the rage, and that marketing firms were all racing to “crack Reddit.”

You see, the thing is, Reddit is data-laden. Further, when you consider a company like Uber, that recently broke even via ad-revenue after years of being unprofitable, and then consider that Reddit has already started selling ads, and recently closed a deal with Google to sell data for AI-model training, I see a lot of potential here.

Stats:

~70 Million Daily Active Users

~400 Million Monthly Active Users

Think of Reddit as that confessional box where you can post anything you need to vent about, or that doctor that you can bring you weird rash to. Anonymous to the extent you wish, and best of all, free (as of now).

And so, when people talk valuation, and revenue, it’s no surprise we’re in the billions; despite Reddit posting a net loss of $90 million last year, and similar, if not worse performance in the past two decades, I could see the following senario playing out: Cash-flush OpenAI pays Reddit for exclusive access to all posts from years x-z for training, at a premium, and Reddit takes said years of posts offline forever.

We did some sentiment analysis, just to get an idea of what’s out there discourse-wise:

All in all, they’re selling ~22 million shares at ~$31-35 per share. Further, 8% of their pre-listing friends and family offering has been offered to actual Subreddit Administrators and Moderators themselves. To qualify, you had to have accrued a certain amount of “Karma” by a certain date in the past few months. Think of Karma like stardust you accrue by upvoting or commenting on a post, answering a survey, etc. All around, you earn Karma by being a good redditor. I doubt that those in this demographic who bought pre-IPO shares will sell anytime soon.

If this dumps to the $10s/share in coming weeks I will plan to accumulate and hold, as I believe Reddit is a prime target for eventual acquisition by players in the AI space.

Hello, everyone; this will be a quick article for the archives. So everyone can understand our current position, thoughts, and consensus on ethereum.

This is the updated statistics as of 3/18/2024

Solana Outpaces Ethereum Network Activity

As of 3/16/2024, according to DefiLama, surging past Ethereum's total trading volume by more than 1.1 billion.

Eth Killer Theory

For those of you who have followed me for a long time, you are aware of my stance on ethereum. In previous years, reflecting the first chart, you should hold Bitcoin at an average price of $20,000 until 2024. And absolutely do not hold any eth.

We also said that in 2023, as things were priming up, we should own all the platforms. You make money from a platform. All the L1 ETH competitors, Solana, APT, SUI, and more outperformed ethereum.

Dencun Upgrade Nothing Burger

"The overall effect should be lower costs, but users on the main blockchain (L1) won't enjoy these lower fees until at least 2026-27, says Pitchbook's crypto analyst Robert Le, until there is "full danksharding," referring to a rollup scaling method which provides extra storage for increased transactional capacity."

What's Next? Possible Scenarios

So what's next? Most market participants did not anticipate what is happening with Solana or expect Eth's underperformance to be this drastic. This gives us a significant edge. We will see eth/btc falter to the levels in our pivotal grid above.

We will likely see continued outflow from ethereum.

An ETF could drive demand for ethereum but solve none of its underlying problems. The L2s are super competitive, and with delays and failures being the norm for ETH 2.0, they may capitulate to other chains before the fix. This means no new money will be using the chain or platforms. There is even a possibility old money and institutions will exit spot and invest in the ETF.

Right now, trading ethereum is the best bet. Based on the reasons above, it is not worth locking up capital to stake or use the chain. Sadly, whatever remains on ethereum will most likely be inherited by centralized forces who continue to want to control the network. Big Banks, etc. What this means for price is ultimately what we are seeing happen.

Solana network is outperforming in terms of usage, and l2s are killing each other in a dog-eat-dog competition, with platforms migrating to new chains. The best trades and ideas are the ones that show movement from the outset. Does this recent news with Solana continue to validate our theory? Or will an ETH ETF be around the corner and help save ETH from its depressing performance? We will take advantage of all this. I hope you enjoyed this article.

As you trade digital currencies, such as bitcoin and meme-coins, have you ever considered what this is all progressing towards? In high school, I was fascinated by a little website called Future Timeline. It became a meme over the past decade, making me think hard about the future. Can you predict or at least anticipate what's to come? I saw things come true over the years and realized I could profit from these events. That is when I truly embraced my inner trading nature in ways different from the majority.

Anticipating What is to Come.

So let's keep it very, very simple. Remember our core philosophy. We are here to find profitable ideas. Not everyone is a professional trader, but everyone can act on their ideas. Some people have ideas they strongly believe in that can give you a unique edge.

Centralization vs Decentralization

Without going into a rabbit hole, this is the cycle of balance: centralized forces vs. Decentralized forces. A simple example would be how, back in the day, people would pirate a movie. Then, they would send ads saying it was illegal, etc.

In today's world, if centralized forces make a breakthrough, decentralization will follow behind and then get two years ahead, and vice versa. It can never be stopped; it is simply a leveling war that goes back and forth.

Crypto started as a decentralized world, and then centralized forces came in and made their move. Now, we have innovations coming from both sides, and it's all a battle for control. People should have full autonomy over their money. They obviously do not want that. However, they realized they could profit from it, tax it, and force control over the selling of the asset, especially if they got involved themselves with ETFs.

Now, the point of the article: Where are we going? My old economics professor once said we are moving from a labor market society to a capital-driven one. This phrase stuck with me, and I think he is spot-on. We are in the final phases of completely merging into a capital-driven society.

What does this mean? Everything I mention here will be food for thought; I am speculating here, after all.

AI, Chatgpt, Databases, and Robots.

The first step will be a cashless society, a centralized idea. There is a way to progress without removing cash, but it is their goal. A cashless society will lead to more control and fewer rights for the people; let us hope the battle for a cashless society doesn't come to fruition.

Most grocery stores will employ a whole foods idea; people walk in, get what they want, and walk out. No need for overhead. (Yes, I know theft and flaws still exist)

The concept of automation and robots will also apply to fast food. The employees constantly mess up orders and demand absurd pay raises, and they will all be fired. This may play into riots and protests in the future and give rise to another centralized idea of universal basic income. Who knows if the cycle will find a balance since this will evolve to export/import warehousing, deliveries, truck drivers, and so on. I am brainstorming so you can have something to think about.

Virtual World

I am curious how far Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and similar tech have evolved since I knew it was a fad early on. However, mega-corps like Facebook and Apple are putting serious money into this upcoming industry, so it is hard to ignore it.

We will briefly mention this since it's essential. We will cover speculation and discuss these concepts at a later date. We will see more growth in this industry.

Another example is 3D printing, which has grown exponentially. People can now create templates, manufacture tools, and more.

Some taboo industries will also gain traction. I don't know about you, but private doctors will surge in the coming years. Big Pharma ruined its reputation beyond repair in 2020, which carries over into Genetic Engineering.

Right now, you can select what your baby will look like, their hair, skills, and traits. It can get scary how much this can develop. You cannot even imagine what people can do with AI once they create neurochips, scan the brain, etc. Think Deus Ex, or cyberpunk. While still fantasy, it is pretty close to a possible reality.

Cryptos

So, how do cryptos play a role in the world to come?

These ideas are now more opinionated and speculative, but they will be a hybrid of everything. The technology will grow to a new level powered by AI. It is also worth mentioning why I believe in AGIX. SingularityNet is a project spearheaded by Ben Goertzel, who has dedicated his life to understanding AI. SingularityNet already says AGIX is not a speculative token but the backbone for their AI marketplace. They will have anons post their tools and scale aggressively when things reach the next stage.

We already see attempts made through tokenizing real estate, digital real estate, etc., but there is no set way for people to put on a headset and enter a digital world. That is still far away.

We also have issues with blockchain gaming and the developers' greed for play-to-earn models. People always say oh, gaming is the trend, but there is a reason why it has not succeeded. Who do you know in the CT space right now who says hey, let's all play this game together? 1. Realize you will likely be unable to capture 100% of a move. This is the equivalent of saying oh if only I bought apple 30 years ago I would have millions! Once people see a little bit of green they are eager to take profits, it simply does not happen.

2. Don't set strict profit targets. How do you know how far something is going to run? I am sure you heard the saying let winners run and cut losers fast. The true essence behind this quote is to focus on the trade. Don't take profit simply because you are emotional and euphoric. Follow the proper procedures of your trade. The same applies when taking risk.

3. Elevator Stoploss Strategy. We have posted a couple of times about trailing a stoploss. More details are found in our discord.

How do you know if you should go long or short?

Let's delve into this question by examining a 3D chart and utilizing a set of dependable tools: Fisher, Volume, and VZO. I invite you to join me on this journey as we explore some valuable trading insights.

Analyzing the Chart: Key Observations

After a thorough analysis of the chart, several essential points emerge:

Direction Matters: It is crucial always to analyze charts from right to left and avoid drawing levels from left to right.

Current Position: At the moment, we find ourselves at a resistance point. But is it wise to consider a short position here?

Our Bitcoin position has recently surged from 26,800 to 28,000. Realistically, how substantial of a short position would you want to take? What is the potential return of such a short trade? It would require constant monitoring. Alternatively, why not align with the prevailing trend and explore more straightforward set-and-forget or trailing-stop strategies during this bullish rally?

Do you see the logic behind this approach?

Zooming Out: Observing Market Structure on the 2W Chart

As mentioned earlier, it's worth reflecting on whether it's truly worth your time and effort to seek out a short position at this juncture. Are you striving for a mere 30 points to gain attention on social media, or are you focused on sound trading principles that lead to profitability?

Consider these points:

We are within an exceptionally long range dating back to 2022.

This range has been thoroughly tested. Can you count how many times we've touched the upper limit of this range?

Are you genuinely inclined to take a gamble in this late phase of the range?

As previously mentioned, what downside are you seeking to capture? It seems illogical and perhaps even imprudent to actively pursue short positions here, particularly when compared to the potential upside of $10.00-$12.00.

Attempting to pinpoint a downside target in this scenario appears unproductive and time-consuming, as the price has remained steadfast at $5.70 for over a year. While some may consider the coin outdated, it enjoys support from the World Economic Forum and has cultivated a robust "link marine" community.

Furthermore, our Fisher indicator has generated buy signals, particularly on higher timeframes, enhancing its reliability.

When Should You Consider Shorting?

The primary reason to consider a short position is if you are not already in a long position.

If you observe the price topping out on shorter timeframes and wish to capitalize on a normal market reaction, this approach can be valid. However, be mindful that this type of trade entails lower timeframes, requires continuous monitoring, and typically involves quick scalping.

In Conclusion (TLDR):

In trading, there are both GOOD trades that can result in losses and BAD trades that can lead to gains. It's akin to a poker hand where there's a probability that any random two cards can beat a pair of Aces (AA). However, this doesn't mean you shouldn't strive to maximize your odds.

Given the current market conditions and the multitude of other opportunities available, shorting LINK may not be a Good trade, irrespective of whether it leads to gains or losses. Of course, there are exceptions, but those typically involve not already being in a long position.
